
| P. ANDREW STONE Andy Stone is a partner practicing in the area of insurance coverage disputes, workers’ compensation, family law, personal injury, construction law, probate and business law. He is admitted in the State Bars of Georgia and Connecticut; Federal Court, Middle District of Georgia; Second Circuit Court of Appeals; Federal Court, District of Connecticut; Federal Court, Southern District of New York; and Federal Court, Eastern District of New York. Andy was born and raised in Valdosta. He graduated from Valdosta High School and Valdosta State University where he was admitted into the Sigma Tau Delta Honor Society for academic excellence, Kappa Theta Epsilon Honor Society for academic excellence, appointed as Ambassador by Student Alumni Association and is currently a member of the VSU Alumni Board of Directors. Andy worked as an Environmental Law Compliance Specialist with the Department of Defense at Moody Air Force Base, GA. Andy obtained his J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law in Hamden, Connecticut and received the Outstanding Legal Scholarship Award for Academic Excellence and was appointed Chief Justice of Student Judicial Board. After law school, Andy joined the firm of Saxe, Doernberger & Vita, PC in Hamden, CT where he focused on insurance coverage and complex commercial litigation within a wide spectrum of industries and categories including litigation arising out of the World Trade Center tragedy and reconstruction, Boston’s Big Dig project, and Hurricane Katrina damage and reconstruction. Andy is married to Amanda, fellow VSU alum, who works as a Physician Assistant at Moody Air Force Base. |
